Itinerary

Duration: 7 days / 6 nights A complete tour combining culture, heritage, nature and a change of scenery to experience Tunisia differently. Saturday / Sunday – Arrival & Installation

Welcome at the airport.
Transfer and check-in at the hotel.
Free time to relax and enjoy the facilities.

Monday: Sousse – el Jem – Matmata – Douz

7:00 a.m.: Departure for El Jem.
A Visit to the majestic Roman amphitheater, the 3rd largest in the world, known for its colossal structure and incredible acoustics. (Duration: 1 hour)
Departure for Matmata.
Continue to Matmata, famous for its troglodyte houses. (1 hour)
Lunch in Matmata at the Les Berbères restaurant.
Continue to Douz.
Arrival in Douz. Optional camel ride on the large sand dunes.
Accommodation at the El Mouradi Douz hotel, or similar.
Dinner and accommodation (drinks with supplement).

Tuesday: Douz – Chatt El Jerid – Kairouan – Sousse

After breakfast at the hotel departure towards Tozeur crossing the Chatt El Jerid salt lake, where mirage phenomena will make you question your visual acuity.
Arrival in Tozeur: Horse-drawn carriage ride in the palm grove of Tozeur (optional) (1 hour).
Departure in 4X4 to visit the mountain oases: Chébika and Tameghza.

Optional visit by Ong Jmal.

Departure towards Kairouan.
Lunch on the way to Metlaoui or Gafsa.
Continuation for Kairouan.
Arrival in Kairouan. Free time in the medina: a veritable open-air museum, still alive with Arab-Muslim art and architecture, with its houses, its alleys, its souks (wool souk, weavers' souk, leather souk, carver's souk, carpet souk where carpets are still sold by auction). (30 min)
Back towards Sousse.
Arrival in Sousse, continue to the hotel, dinner and accommodation.

Wednesday : Sousse – Tunis – Carthage – Sidi Bou Said – Sousse

7:30 a.m. : after breakfast departure for Tunis.
Arrival in Tunis, free walk in the medina.
Departure for Gammarth: Lunch at the Phénix restaurant.
Arrival in Carthage and guided tour of the Antonine Baths.
Continuation towards Sidi Bou Said.
Arrival in Sidi Bou Said, walk in the picturesque village on top of a hill overlooking the sea, it is the meeting place of all artists (01 hour).
Back towards Sousse.
Arrival at the hotel of stay: Dinner and accommodation.

THURSDAY : Free day Enjoy the hotel's facilities at your leisure or treat yourself to a relaxing break at the thalassotherapy center, a sports activity (yoga, golf, horse riding), or one of the exclusive workshops offered by Vida Voyages. Friday : Sousse –Hammamet---Nabeul –– Sousse

7:00 a.m.: Departure for Hammamet.
Arrival in Hammamet, free time to explore the Medina and the shopping center. (1 hour)
Continue to Nabeul.
Arrival in Nabeul: Visit to a pottery and ceramics workshop. (30 min)
Free time to explore the weekly market. (1 hour)
Return to the hotel where you are staying.
